FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming cecal end of the jejunum after removing pancreaticoduodenal complex. Posterior semicircle of the cut pancreas cross-section is sutured to intestinal wall. The main pancreatic duct is drained with perforated plastic drain. The drain is brought out to anterior abdominal wall. The anterior semicircle of the cut pancreas cross-section is sutured to intestinal wall. Pancreatic duct system is sealed by applying purse-string suture and balloon catheter with inflatable cuff. The cuff is arranged behind the purse-string suture.
