FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: nattress for preventing and curing pressures sores and for treating burnt portions of human body has casing and bed with openings for blowing air under pressure to patient's body. Bed working surface is extending in parallel with lower surface of lying patient. Bed is made in the form of sections secured to casing and adapted for receiving separate parts of patient's body. Each section is provided with perforated cover. Working surface is positioned on covers and is made in the form of flexible diaphragms whose cavities are communicated with cover cavities, which are communicated with air pipe. Diaphragm blowing openings are positioned in their inner sides. Mattresses of several sizes may be made and used for patients having more or less close body shape and sizes. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
