FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for restoring operating characteristics of strut hydropneumatic shock absorbers of foreign make and charging shock absorbers of ZAZ-1102 and M-2141 cars with gas and liquid. Proposed device has bottle with compressed gas, shutoff gear, high-pressure hoses and gas charger including union to feed gas into shock absorber and consisting of housing with truncated lower part with inner diameter corresponding to diameter of rod of shock absorber under filling, top cover with press-fitted oil seal and sealing ring. EFFECT: simplified procedure and reduced cost of restoration of operating characteristics of strut hydropneumatic shock absorbers, increased service life of shock absorbers, simplified design and enlarged sphere of application. 5 dwg
