FIELD: gasification of solid, mainly, brown finely-divided coal. SUBSTANCE: electric heater 4 is made of bell shape and secured with its open end to bottom of body 1 coaxially to body. Channel 2 is made in the form of pipe located inside body. Lower end of pipe is located above convex part of electric heater 4. Restriction of reaction region by zone of contact of jet from blowing channel with electric heater, formation of dispersed ash layer of low heat conduction and contact of walls with layer of finely-divided coal of considerable thickness prevent significant losses of heat through body walls.
