FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: railway tank car has barrel I installed don running gear on frame 3, charging hatch with cover, protective hood 6 for draining-and-filling devices, and protective shields. Protective hood housing is made in form of polyhedron with bevelled faces extended along tank car axis. Height of housing is 0.03-0.04 times grater than maximum height of draining-and-filling devices. Housing is fitted in additional guard chute of draining-and-filling devices. Hinges are installed on lower end faces of hood housing and guard chute to connect them to each other. Clamps for fastening protective hood housing on guard chute are mounted on opposite lower end faces. Protective hood housing has handles rigidly secured on its sides. Holes are made in clamps of protective hood housing and guard chute for fitting locking-and-sealing device. Guard chute of draining-and-filling devices is furnished with drain pipes. Protective hood travel limiter is mounted on barrel. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in service. 3 cl, 2 dwg
