FIELD: waste-free hydrometallurgy of noble metals; recovery of metals from used catalysts on carriers. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heat treatment under definite conditions. Heat treatment is conducted at temperature of 450 to 650 C, after which heat treatment at temperature of 700 to 1200 C is performed in reducing or oxidizing medium.
