FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: cavitation generator comprises body with internal working chamber and nozzles for treated liquid-containing medium supply to chamber and drain from it. Chamber comprises drive shaft. Shaft has activator fixed to it in the form of disk with cylinders-cavitators, which are installed along disk radiuses on pylons according to normal line to its surfaces. Similar fixed cylinder-cavitators are installed on end walls of working chamber. Cylinder-cavitators on activator and cylinder-cavitators on end walls of working chamber, which are installed accordingly at the same distance from center of activator and center of end walls, are distanced from each other along circular arcs at the distances that make at least 5 hydraulic diameters of these cavitator cross sections.
EFFECT: higher intensity of cavitation treatment of different mediums and protection of chamber wall and surface of disk-activator against cavitation erosion.
