FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes galvanic application of iron on surface of part, immersion of part in mixture of powders containing, mass-%: boron carbide, 55 to 70; aluminum oxide, remainder; then part is isolated from penetration of air, heated at monotonic rise of temperature from 800 to 1100 C for 40 to 100 minutes; part is kept at this temperature for 3 to 10 hours, after which it is cooled down to ambient temperature.
