FIELD: hydrodynamic cleaning of surfaces; cleaning of underwater structures, for example, outer surfaces of ship hulls. SUBSTANCE: innovation of invention consists in joint use of dynamic and cavitating effects. Method includes delivery of liquid under pressure through nozzle- cavitator. Method also includes physico-chemical modification of properties of liquid through addition of suspended particles and/or soluble high-molecular polymers. High-molecular linear polymer may be used as modifying agent, for example, polyoxyethylene at molecular mass of 105...107 and concentration of 10-6...10-4 kg/kg. Water may be used as liquid medium. Polymer may be fed to boundary area at nozzle-cavitator inlet through passages available in its housing and evenly distributed over cross-section of nozzle-cavitator. EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning; increased productivity; enhanced economical efficiency. 6 cl, 1 dwg
