FIELD: hydrodynamic cleaning of surfaces; cleaning of underwater structures, ship hull, for example. SUBSTANCE: innovation of invention consists in joint use of dynamic and cavitating effects. Method of forming cavitating jet for cleaning solid surfaces consists in delivery of liquid under pressure through nozzle-cavitator. Chemical modification of activity cavitating vapor-and-gas cavities is effected through delivery of one or more chemically active gases to them. According to their thermodynamic properties, these gases may react with each other and with cavitating liquid. Water may be used as cavitating liquid. Ammonia and hydrogen chloride may be used as chemically active gases. Carbon dioxide may be additionally fed to vapor-and-gas cavities. EFFECT: enhanced economical and operational efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
