FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in feeding cavitating water jet. Note here that high-pressure self-suction pump is used to saturate water with air and ejector is used to produce water-air mix portions. Said mix is compressed by high-pressure pump and forced into heater. Said mix is saturated with vapor-gas phase bubbles at high pressure in said heater on heating it to temperature exceeding that of water boiling at atmospheric pressure, and, further, it is forced via nozzle onto surface to be cleaned. Note also that, due to abrupt rise in pressure, volume of vapor-gas phase bubbles reduces at rate exceeding sound velocity in water till collapse. Proposed device comprises ejector to saturate water with air, high-pressure pump, water-air mix heater and nozzle to direct mix jet onto cleaned surface. High-pressure self-suction pump feeds water feed by creating rarefaction in intake branch pipe to saturate water with air by ejection of air directly in water.
EFFECT: higher quality of cleaning, reduced water quality tolerances.
