FIELD: satellite communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: satellite communication system consists of low-orbiting retransmitter satellites and receiving-transmitting equipment, which is mounted on low-orbiting retransmitter satellites and customer satellites and ensures continuous communication. Retransmitter satellites are arranged into at least two orbital groups, each of which has at least three retransmitter satellites, are located on same orbit and are connected by means of receiving-transmitting equipment, which ensures continuous communication. Orbit inclination angle I for each orbital group with respect to ecliptic plane is within range from (Δmin+βmax) to 180°-(Δmin+βmax), where Δmin - is minimal tolerant value of angle Δ between mutual visibility line of connected satellites and pointing direction to Sun from satellite, βmax - is maximal half cone funnel of total optical conjugation of board receiving-transmitting equipment of retransmitter satellites and customer satellites. Angle between line of intersection of orbital plane of k-th orbital group of retransmitter satellites and ecliptic plane and line of intersection of orbital plane of j-th orbital group of retransmitter satellites is within range from (ΔΩj+ΔΩk) to (180°-(ΔΩj+ΔΩk), where correspond to number of retransmitter satellite group. In addition, receiving-transmitting equipment of any customer satellite is optically conjugated to receiving-transmitting equipment of at least one retransmitter satellite in any position of customer satellite orbit.
