FIELD: information systems. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for designing distribution of text information to multiple receivers from multiple sources, when sources can form groups of users which may have access to transmitted information. Method for transmission of text and command messages from source to receiver involves generation of code sequence, which consists of synchronization , address, message type and message content fields. Source text is encoded (compressed) using preliminary produced thematic encoding tables. Information sources control content of decoding tables which are stored at each receiver as well as list of addresses which are allowed to receive information. Transmission of information from different sources is coordinated by central unit of system by means of time distribution of transmission in time. In addition, information from sources is gathered through public telephone line, while information is distributed to receivers through radio channel. EFFECT: increased protection of distributed information against unauthorized access, possibility of on-line control of transmitted information, reduced traffic through communication channel, decreased restrictions on location of information sources and receivers. 5 cl, 5 dwg
