FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: jet injector has dispensing container with opening through which container is filled with medicinal preparation prescribed for injection. Adapter device is employed in conjunction with filling device. Filling device, such as hypodermic syringe, is broken off from container upon injecting of medicinal preparation, with needle remaining covered with adapter device. Adapter device has two parts: container is inserted into first part and syringe end is inserted into second part. Container casing itself may serve as first part. First and second parts are joined along fragile connection. Filling device may be made in the form of set including jet syringe container and adapter device. Injector may be filled by means of filling device of such construction even by unskilled personnel. Moreover, inexpensive common hypodermic syringe normally used for hypodermic injections may be employed. EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation and increased efficiency. 26 cl, 7 dwg
