FIELD: electric arc welding along arbitrary-configuration seam realized by means of industrial robots. SUBSTANCE: videosensor apparatus includes photodetector on base of matrix of charge-coupled devices, interference filter, lens and changeable inlet window. Welding arc is used as structured illumination source. Radiation of welding arc is converted to illuminated stripe crossing connection line near welding zone and providing after secondary reflection to receive in photodetector three-dimensional data related to welded joint, gap or cross section of dressing. Converter includes casing in which slit-type diaphragm in the form of cylinder with lengthwise slit and reflector in the form of cylinder with flat face are mounted with possibility of changing their rotation angle. EFFECT: enhanced selectivity allowing to receive three-dimensional data of welded joint by means of relatively simple optical system. 2 dwg
