FIELD: measuring technique, possibly precise measurement of small angular motions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes laser, mirror unit, photodetector in the form of linear photosensitive charge-coupled device, indicator, clock pulse generator, amplifier, analog comparator, generator, counter, two flip-flops, delay line, three registers, digital comparator, NO-gate. Interference pattern emerging in analysis plane projects on photosensitive area of charge-coupled device and output videosignal is formed by said device. Videosignal accurately corresponds to projected interference pattern and it is converted to pulses loaded with information concerning to direction and value of object motion and displayed on indicator. EFFECT: lowered number of complex intermediate calculations for receiving measurement results in form favorable for users, operation of apparatus in real time mode. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
