FIELD: lighting engineering and optical projecting systems. SUBSTANCE: double-segment off-centering counter-reflector is inserted into central part of reflector. Additional ellipsoidal reflector is introduced into central part of counter-reflector. Perpendiculars drawn through tops of counter-reflector segments and optical axis intersect at top of additional reflector. Curvature centers of segments are equally spaced from discharge so that discharge images positioned in object plane mate with focuses of additional reflector. EFFECT: enlarged area and increased intensity of uniformly reflected spot in film gate plane. 2 dwg
