FIELD: metallurgy, more particularly manufacture of large-size highly loaded components in various machine-building industries, e.g. avia or space technology. SUBSTANCE: steel comprises, %: carbon, 0.36-0.44; silicon, 2.6-3.0; manganese, 0.10-0.5; chromium, 1.0-1.3; nickel, 3.5-4.8; cobalt, 2.0-4.5; molybdenum, 0.3-0.9; vanadium, 0.05-0.15; at least one element from group consisting of alkaline-earth metals including magnesium and calcium, 0.001-0.05 and element from group consisting of rare-earth metals including lanthanum and cerium, 0.001-0.05; and the iron balance. EFFECT: greater strength fluidity, higher shear resistance, sufficient viscosity, plasticity and high resistance to corrosion cracking. 5 tbl
