SUBSTANCE: method consists in pushing of sintered blank by one stroke of press along step die to effect preliminary reduction of blank in direction transverse to main force application due to passing of blank into narrower step and destruction of bridgings inside blank After pushing of reduced blank through the narrowest section of die, it is preset by press main force. Die may be made with two and more steps. Transition between steps may be full, not full or spiral. EFFECT: higher density of sintered part with low labor input. 2 cl, 3 dwg
