FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine depends for its operation on nuclear fusion energy. It is, essentially, combination of thermonuclear engine and electric rocket engine which makes it possible to develop speed as high as over 250 m/s at starting and up to 2•108 m/s in space flying.
