FIELD: manufacture of fans; farming and industries. SUBSTANCE: diametral fan has housing with inlet and outlet holes separated by flat wall provided with rectilinear shutters and impeller mounted in body. Section of housing after leading edge is made in form of shutters whose length is equal to 0.4 of outer diameter of impeller D₂; continuous curvilinear plane mounted above leading edge of housing at distance of 0.17 D₂ is articulated on housing after shutters forming suction passage at initial section on leading edge of housing. EFFECT: increased pressure within nominal output; low level of noise. 2 dwg
