SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has working-medium passages of which one accommodates in-line pins arranged in longitudinal and transverse directions at pitch t and provided, in addition, with vortex generators made of longitudinally coiled strip; each vortex generator is mounted on two adjacent pins; vortex generator pitch t1 makes up four pin pitches t in longitudinal direction. Heat exchanger incorporates provision for reducing settling of suspended particles on heat- transfer surfaces of passages.
