FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: in predetermined points of wells, fiber-optic cables and devices with solid or liquid incendiary compositions are placed. Light guides of cables are connected over split sleeve to lasers and computers on the ground surface and to initiation means of devices with solid incendiary compositions disposed in wells. In another case, optic fibers are connected to emitting heads in the ends of fiber-optic cables in wells, when liquid incendiary compositions are used. Light energy is transmitted over cable light guides to solid and liquid incendiary compositions, which inflame and create in oil-and-gas strata regions with specified high temperatures and pressures. High-temperature treatment of strata is continuously controlled by transmitting versatile information over fiber- optic cables to the ground surface. If necessary, such treatment of strata is many times repeated with specified time intervals in required order and succession.
