SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to oil and gas industry and is intended for well drilling. To implement the method, a laser drill is lowered at the lowering facility to the well along the drill string. Pulses of the laser beam from the pumping unit are fed to the laser head. Drilling is carried out discretely after addition of drill pipe to drill string. As a means of lowering the laser drill, a coiled tubing is used. After the next stage of drilling the working face, laser head and drill string are cooled. Next drilling pipe is installed and drill string is lowered to the length of the installed drill pipe. At that, drilling device of oil and gas wells includes means of lowering laser drill in well to area of productive formation. Laser drill comprises a laser head with a lens. Optical fiber is laid inside the coil tubing with a gap. Pumping unit is made on the surface. Laser head and the lens are cooled by using an internal cooling system, a lens protection system and a curved cooling of the laser drill body.
