FIELD: transport engineering; differentials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method employs property of planetary mechanisms with ratio greater than zero to change efficiency to zero depending on member to which torque is applied. Differential implementing this method consists of two coaxially arranged and parallel connected planetary mechanisms with gear ratios providing below-zero efficiency of each planetary mechanism at driven output shafts. This method provides uniform distribution of torque between driving axles and wheel of vehicle in two parallel flows irrespective of driving wheel-road adhesion.
