FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves examining maxillary and mandibular models by setting them into habitual occlusion, transferring it by means of facial arch into a device for finding out anomalies and measuring teeth positions relative to a coordinate point. A point defined on facial arch on its symmetry axis is used as the coordinate point in the device. The coordinate point position is determined by device structure elements. The device has means for measuring occlusion plane slope angle, distances from the coordinate point to teeth in longitudinal and transverse direction. The means are mounted in turn on bearing rod fixed in the facial arch. EFFECT: high accuracy of measurements. 5 cl, 6 dwg
