FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly restoration and manufacture of heat exchanging apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of using standard-length tube, placing tube plates mutually spaced by distance less than selected length of tube; after securing tube to first tube plates, in order to place reciprocal end of tube in second tube plate, applying to tube axial effort causing only its elastic deformation, then fixing tube in second tube plate whose roll bent joint also is loaded by axial effort. In the result tube plates are fixed against motion. EFFECT: possibility for determining strength parameters of roll bent joints directly at securing tube in each tube plate. 4 dwg
