FIELD: electrical therapy, cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in cosmetology for renewal of vitality of muscles and turgor of flaccid skin in medicinal and aesthetical purposes and for medical treatment of chronic diseases of skin. Treated section of skin is subjected to action of pulses of electric current via electrodes wetted in current-conducting fluid or gel in advance. Microcurrents act step by step in range of 20 to 300 μA on frequencies from 0.1 to 300.0 Hz with action time at each step from 10 to 30 min and total duration of procedure from 30 to 90 min. Frequency and action time are changed at each next step depending on desired type of action in following sequence: at first step action causing normalization including elongation of tense or contraction of stretched mimic or corporal muscles is carried out, at second step action causing shortening of elongated normalized muscles is conducted. After them deep layers of skin are subjected to action causing effects of deep wetting of skin and intensification of microcircular processes. Action causing normalization of muscles is accomplished with microcurrents with values of 20-40 μA on frequency 0.1-1.0 Hz in the course of 10-20 min. Action causing shortening of elongated muscles is accomplished with microcurrents with values of 40-300 μA on frequency 0-7-15.0 Hz in the course of 10-20 min. Action on deep layers of skin is realized in several stages with microcurrents with values 40-200 μA on frequency 30-300 Hz in the course of 10-20 min. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of electrical action on skin, reduced time of its renewal with minimal risk for organism of getting accustomed to electrical action, complete comfort of action. 3 cl
