FIELD: separation of emulsions from two immiscible liquids at different densities; separation of water and oil at considerable gas phase during operation of submersible pumps at depth. SUBSTANCE: separation is performed at depth. Method employs centrifugal, gravitational-centripetal, hydrophobic and hydrophilic separation mechanisms. Oil is raised upward and water is pumped downward. Method of separation of emulsions includes processes of initial centrifugal and subsequent gravitational separation with preliminarily separated liquids moving towards each other vertically and then in opposite direction when fraction enriched with light components is discharge upward and fraction enriched with heavy components is discharged downward. Process of first stage of centrifugal separation is effected at upward motion of liquids. Forced inversion of heavy fraction from periphery to center and light fraction from center to periphery of rotation are performed, after which second stage of centrifugal separation is carried out, at least in second spiral passage without forced inversion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of water phase during producing oil directly in well. 3 cl, 2 dwg
