FIELD: powdery metallurgy; applicable in sealing of flange and pipe-union-end detachable units of pipelines of different applications. SUBSTANCE: composition of mixture for manufacture of cermet sealing materials based on copper contains powders of aluminum, graphite and copper and additionally contains iron oxides with the following amounts of components, wt.%: aluminum powder 0.1-2; powders of iron oxides 1-4; graphite powder 0.2-2; the balance, copper powder. In this case, ratio of content of iron oxides to content of aluminum is taken within (2:1)-(10:1), and ratio of content of graphite to content of iron oxides is within (1:1)-(1:5).
