FIELD: production of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: equipment includes burner with slits, cylindrical heat exchanger mounted coaxially on to lower flange of burner and system of gas conduits in the form of vertical uprises to supply and discharge stack gases. Heat exchanger is made of two cylinders, internal and external. Outer surface of internal cylinder has ribs which form clearance between burner and heat exchanger. External cylinder has holes connected to vertical uprises and placed in opposition. EFFECT: increased temperature of burning of anode gases, efficiency of burn-out of CO and bituminous substances and operational stability of burner. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
