DEVICE FOR INCINERATION OF THE ANODIC GASES OF THE ALUMINUM ELECTROLYZER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C25C3/22

Abstract RU 2312939 C2

FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; chemical industry; other industries; devices used for incineration of the anodic gases of the electrolysis production of aluminum.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices used for incineration of anodic gases of the electrolysis production of aluminum. The device for incineration of the anodic gases of the aluminum electrolyzer contains the burner with the air-feeding slots made in the lower part of the burner body, and the screen mounted with the capability of blanking of the air-feeding slots by means of the sealing block. The screen represents the hollow - cylinder coaxially mounted on the burner with the clearance along the annular perimeter and hermetically fixed in the upper part of the burner body on its annular perimeter. In the lower butt part the screen is open and disposed on the half of the air-feeding openings. At that the screen height makes - 60 % from the height of the burner. The sealing block is filled with the heat-insulating material. The technical result of the invention is the increased degree of afterburning of the combustible ingredients of the anodic gas, reduction of the transfer in the system -of the organized gas-suction of CO - by 41.9 %, the dust - by 16.7 %, the resinous matters -- by 41.3 %, the benzpyrene - by 91.9 %.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased degree of afterburning of the combustible ingredients of the anodic gas, reduction of the transfer in the system -of the organized gas-suction of CO - near by a half, the dust - by about twenty percent, the resinous matters -- near to a half, the benzpyrene - by about ninety percent.
