FIELD: measurement of amounts of fluid and gas in gas-fluid mixture; applicable in measurement of amounts of fluid and gas in two- phase flow, mainly, in oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurement of flow rate of gas-fluid mixture and measurement of flow rate of fluid and gas in process of separation of this mixture into its components. Measurement is carried out in measuring chamber which is made in form of two measuring cylinders, each having separating members. Gas-fluid mixture is supplied to the first measuring cylinder. Gas and fluid after separations are alternately supplied to the second measuring cylinder and from it, gas fluid are alternately directed to discharge line. EFFECT: higher service properties of devices for measurement of oil well production rate. 1 dwg
