FIELD: forensic medicine. SUBSTANCE: method is designed for use when determining dibunol in tissues and body fluids as well as when investigating farmacodynamics in various medicinal forms. One determines time of extraction of dibunol from biological objects performing extraction with isopropyl alcohol under reflux followed by thin-layer chromatography involving 9:1 chloroform/acetone solvent system and development in iodine vapors. After elution with ethanol, one measures spectrophotometrically weight concentration of dibunol at wavelength 276 nm using extinction coefficient value 101.5 (for 1 cm cuvette).
