FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: fire engine has system for pneumatic charging of fire-extinguishing substance free of outside compressed air sources and charging devices. Pressure source is formed as unit equipped with receiver and compressor heads driven from fire engine power takeoff box. Fire-extinguishing substance vessel has two vertical reservoirs mounted along longitudinal axis of reservoir chassis, which are arranged in accordance with pneumatic pattern of operation in parallel with gun mount and hose lines. Apparatuses for aerating fire-extinguishing substance in each reservoir are made in the form of collectors provided with nozzles and mounted in bottom of reservoirs. Hand-held gun hoses are mounted in chassis tail part on two nondetachable drums driven from fire engine drive. Each reservoir is further provided with coarse filter, flexible pipe for supplying fire-extinguishing into reservoir, and coarse filter blowing system, which are connected via locking fittings to pneumatic communication systems. Such construction allows fire engine capacity to be restored by replenishment of fire-extinguishing charge and by maintaining working air pressure in reservoirs without necessity for returning to store house.
