FIELD: firefighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting equipment and, in particular, to ground vehicles for extinguishing fires of oil and gas fountains. The device for extinguishing the fire of oil and gas fountains includes a vehicle chassis, a control cabin and a fire monitor with a nozzle. It contains a battery with a gas-powder extinguishing agent and a device for supplying a gas-powder extinguishing agent to the extinguishing zone. Moreover, each battery includes a vessel with fire extinguishing powder and gas cylinders. The device for supplying a gas-powder fire extinguishing agent to the extinguishing zone includes a controllable fire monitor that can be rotated in the horizontal and vertical planes and a video surveillance device.
EFFECT: invention ensures effective extinguishing of oil and gas fountains with extinguishing of vast areas of fire of oil and gas fountains with a flow rate of about 1 million m3/day and more in gas.
