FIELD: alumina production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of phases of heterogeneous solutions by filtering. Proposed device has filter divided into four insulated chambers, each divided, in its turn, into two zones by common filtering partition. Device is furnished also with distributing mechanism, solution and air feed branch pipes, connecting pipelines and two manifolds. Rotor of distributing mechanism has two rows of channels, four channels in two parallel planes. With rotor rotating, subsequent changing over of filter chambers from one mode of operation to the other is provided through these channels: four chambers, four modes of operation. EFFECT: provision of continuous operation of filter at low power consumption and high quality of phase separation. 2 cl, 6 dwg
