FIELD: suspension dehydration processes. SUBSTANCE: proposed disk vacuum filter contains bath with suspension, cellular shaft with channels installed over bath. Shaft channels are connected to inlet branch pipes with filter sectors arranged over circumference forming disks installed for dipping into bath filled with suspension when cellular shaft is being rotated. Disk vacuum filter is provided with distributing head with branch pipe to let out filtrate. Cross section areas of inlet branch pipe and filtrate outlet branch pipe are related with cross section area of cellular shaft channel by Sca = Sch•Eca; Sf = Sch•Ef where Sca is area of cross section of inlet branch pipe; Sf is area of cross section of filtrate outlet branch pipe from drying zone; Sch is area of cross section of cellular shaft channel; Eca is cross section area of inlet branch pipe to cross section area of cellular shaft channel ratio found experimentally; Ef is area of cross section of cellular shaft channel to area of cross section of branch pipe to let filtrate out of drying zone ratio found experimentally, at Eca≥0,5, Ef≤0,25.
