SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing aliphatic alpha, omega-dinitriles at elevated temperature and pressure in solvent in the presence of catalyst prepared by thermal decomposition of nickel and zinc nitrates with addition of carboxylic acid to obtain corresponding metal or oxide thereof.
