FIELD: ammunition, in particular, fragmentation shells of directive action.

SUBSTANCE: the shell has a directive fragmentation warhead made with a deviation from the axial symmetry, containing an explosive charge with a fragmentation plate located on its lateral side, and a trajectory fuze with a detonator, roll-stabilizing device. The longitudinal axis of the warhead is positioned in parallel with the shell axis. The shell is provided with a device of trajectory corrective turn in the plane passing through the tangent line to the trajectory and normal to the plane of fire by an angle of 90 deg., and a delay element is installed between the trajectory fuze and the explosive charge detonator.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of shell action due to provision of a directive flow of injurious elements.
