FIELD: electric drives for electrified transport, mechanical engineering, metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: classic equivalent T-circuit for the induction motor phase is employed. Stator current, magnetization, and supply voltage signals are shaped using new expressions. Analytic model presenting reference induction motor is devised. Method provides for evaluating induction motor variables including saturation current, electromagnetic moment, and rotor speed within comprehensive range of sampling step variations. Proposed method may be found useful for vector control systems, as well as for investigating transient operating conditions of induction motors and control systems, for analytical synthesis of speed governors and electric drive adjusting devices.
