FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has housing, which front panel carries keypad, display, speaker, mike. Housing contains storage battery set, which is located in recess, which base carries given number of socket, into which information cards are inserted. In addition device has additional devices for reading information from those cards, and device, which controls information cards. Number of devices for reading information from cards corresponds to number of sockets for insertion of information cards. One claim of invention discloses device design in which sockets are arranged in recess base along its longitudinal axis. Another claim of invention discloses device design in which they are located on recess base in symmetry about its longitudinal axis. Device provides possibility to increase effective range of cellular communication outside of telephone set base system without roaming service. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 5 cl, 6 dwg
