FIELD: equipment used in dialysis systems. SUBSTANCE: powder cassette has neck with outer thread and cap adapted to be screwed on neck. Cap is moved to open position by inserting powder cassette into dialyzer. Cap end wall and neck have members which engage one with the other for preventing cap from being unscrewed. Cap end wall is connected to remaining part of cap so that it may be torn from it to unscrew cap only in case joint between cap end wall and remaining part is broken, so that end wall may be separated from cap. Such construction prevents liquid from leakage during removal of cassette from dialyzer cap and eliminates repeated usage of cap upon emptying of cassette. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 9 cl, 18 dwg
