FIELD: mechanical engineering; making of chamber for liquid-propellant rocket engine. SUBSTANCE: chamber consists of interconnected injector and housing with nozzle and head. Housing is made of interconnected steel jacket and inner fire wall made of bronze and steel in form of interconnected shells. Housing head and shells connected to housing are soldered using solder containing nickel, chromium and manganese. Soldering of parts of injector and other members of chamber housing is carried out using copper-silver solder. Shells of nozzle fire wall, nozzle intermediate part and housing head are connected using electron-beam welding through axial clearance left between jacket shells at soldering. Shells of load bearing envelope are welded to each other through ring spacers fitted in axial clearances. EFFECT: provision of high quality of soldered and welded joints, simplified manufacturing of large-size chambers of liquid-propellant rocket engines. 3 cl, 6 dwg
