FIELD: transport engineering; combination steering systems of crawler vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has hydrostatic transmission and transmission control operating drives. It includes also right-hand and left-hand side track rotation speed sensors, and design parameters unit connected with vehicle theoretical angular turning speed calculating unit which is connected with comparator, together with angular speed sensor, through divider unit. Comparator compares signals at divider unit output with reference signal and acts onto operating drive. Systems control operation of vehicle at turning and in case of threat of control failure by automatically limiting the speed and preventing skid. It provides simplification of evaluation of road conditions by driver. EFFECT: reduced to minimum speed losses in motion. 1 dwg
