FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described are compositions for preventing carbonate, sulfate and iron oxide deposits in circulating water supply systems and washing heat exchange equipment to remove scum deposits. Composition comprises oxiethylidene diphosphonic acid, zinc complex of oxiethylidene acid, sodium lignosulfonate, water and sulfonate powder which is by-product of synthesis of sulfonate production and has sodium salts of alkylsulfonic acids as surfactant in amount of not higher than 28%. Ratios of components are as follows, wt %: oxiethylidene diphosphonic acid, 20-25; zinc complex of oxiethylidene diphosphonic acid in terms of zinc oxide, 0.8-1.2; sodium lignosulfonate, 7-12; sulfonate powder, 0.1-0.5; and water, the balance. Invention makes it possible to increase efficiency and quality of cleaning and washing circulating water supply systems and heat exchange equipment and to retain high stability of composition during storage.
