FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is fast-hardening aqueous composition for coating comprising from 95 to 99 wt % of anion-stabilized aqueous emulsion of Tg-containing copolymer at -10 to 50 C, said copolymer comprising two or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers wherein from 0 to 5 wt % of monomers are monomers of α,β- ethylenically unsaturated aliphatic carboxylic acid; from 0.2 to 5 wt % of polyimine having molecular weight from 250 to 20,000; and from 0.2 to 5 wt % of volatile base wherein composition has p4 of 8 to 11 and wherein film cast from composition has hardening rate which is equal to at least within 5 to 20 minutes after casting under ambient conditions; at temperature of up to 30 C and relative humidity of at least 50%. Also described is method of preparing fast-hardening aqueous composition for coating, fast-hardening aqueous road- marking paint and fast-hardening binder for composite materials having migration stability.
