FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stroke engine has at least one cylinder accommodating a piston mechanically coupled with crankshaft, cylinder head with fuel nozzle, combustion chambers with through ports whose central angle is equal to π divided onto number of combustion chambers arranged in rotating member installed in cylinder head and mechanically coupled with crankshaft with possibility of periodically placing cylinder in communication through bypass port, with fuel nozzle and ignition place displaced relative to fuel nozzle in direction of movement of rotating member through distance exceeding the length of through port. Furnaces of combustion chambers found in rotating member are arranged in air jackets made on periphery of rotating member, with port span angle β, within (2α-γ)>β>γ, where α is central angle, γ is furnace through port angle, and β is furnace jacket port span angle. Oil cavity with inlet and outlet channels is found in rotating member with combustion chambers. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of engine. 2 cl
