PROTECTIVE OBSTACLE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: means for protection of territory, separate objects and structures against the effect of small arms and other kinds of weapon, as well as against penetration to the guarded territory. SUBSTANCE: the protective obstacle is made of separate sections and protective shields joined to the main supports provided with additional supports and joined to the ground through bearing plates and foundations. Each section is formed by shaped and flat protective members joined to one another with the aid of detachable joints; the shaped protective members are joined to bearing bars joining the main supports and each member is provided at least with one, adjustable in height, support connected to its rear surface. Both protective shields of the row of the obstacle supports are provided with bulletproof means of observation and embrasures positioned in two levels, and definite sections of the surface of protective shields are provided with members of dynamic protection located outside and connected to them. The obstacle construction has a combination of protective members providing for creation of obstacles of different length, configuration and degree of protection depending on the specific conditions.
