GYROSCOPE-ACCELEROMETER WITH ELECTROSTATIC SUSPENSION OF ROTOR Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2158903 C1

FIELD: instrumentation engineering, navigation, orientation and control systems of such mobile objects as aircraft, motor vessel, automobile, microrobot. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to objects where information on angular velocities and apparent accelerations is required. Given gyroscope-accelerometer has dynamically- symmetric rotor in the form of round plate with holes having current-conducting parts and surrounded by stators whose composition includes face, lower and upper planar stators of suspension and lower and upper stators of torque. Face stator is made of even number of flat electrodes arranged in equatorial plane of rotor over circumference and anchored in side walls of lower electric insulation bushing. Lower and upper identical planar stators of suspension are manufactured in the form of even number of flat electrodes arranged over circumference and anchored on lower and upper electric insulation bushings. Each of two adjacent flat electrodes of stators of suspension and high-voltage source and choke connected in series form measurement network. Lower and upper planar stators of torque are joined in three sections. Sections are connected to phases of A C source. Information processing circuit incorporates ten standard resistors, ten phase-sensitive rectifiers, three adders, five subtracters, five scaling elements. Each measurement network has standard resistor, high-voltage source, choke, pair of adjacent flat electrodes and phase-sensitive rectifier. EFFECT: given gyroscope-accelerometer ensures measurement of three components of apparent acceleration and two components of absolute velocity which leads to expansion of its functional capabilities. 6 dwg
